Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (8-ounce) package refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 ½ cups cooked, shredded chicken
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)
- 1 tablespoon melted butter (for brushing, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into individual triangles.
- Spoon about 1-2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each crescent triangle.
- Gently roll up the crescent rolls, starting from the wide end and rolling toward the pointed tip. Place them seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the tops with melted butter (if using) for extra golden color.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley (optional) and serve warm.
Notes
- You can add cooked bacon bits or chopped spinach to the filling for extra flavor.
- These rolls pair well with a side of ranch or marinara sauce for dipping.
- For a healthier option, use reduced-fat cream cheese and whole wheat crescent rolls.
